BTW, I was thinking for a brief second that I would vote for Gary Johnson but was quickly reminded that the Libertarian party is run by a bunch of mouth-breathing morons who think marijuana is a viable issue in presidential politics. So, yeah, not gonna vote for that douche.
In talking with friends and family I was surprised to discover that almost everyone I know is fed up with the choices this time around. Some aren't even going to bother voting.
They should save the "aren't going to bother voting" after Trump loses. Next election will probably have more sane choices. Right now, Trump has too much momentum to simply ignore or cast protest votes.
Yeah but that's the problem, many people feel that there simply is no one in this election worth pulling the lever for. Like I said, I tried to give Gary Johnson a try but the dude is clueless on so many issues and like all Libertarians he has a preoccupation with smoking pot, which I think is dumb. And the more I learn about Hillary being owned by special interests, banks, etc., the more repugnant she becomes. -- And, I just learned that her VP Tim Kaine is owned by Wall Street as much as she is, if not more. One of the reasons she picked him is because of his fundraising abilities with Wall Street. This shit has definitely turned off Bernie voters and it's turning off a lot of other people too, myself included.
Of course I'm not going to vote for Trump but I'm not inclined to vote for Hillary either. The only thing that might sway my vote would be the Supreme Court nomination issue that is sure to come up in the next four years. Can't have any of those assholes that Trump said he would nominate get on the bench.
Christ, I never thought I'd say this but Joe Biden would make a much better candidate than Hillary. With luck maybe she will really change minds after tomorrows debate with Trump, but I'm not going to hold my breath.
